About GLE Civil & Pipe
Gary Hennessy, the founder of GLE Civil & Pipe, has been around civil construction most of his life. He began working with his father’s civil construction business in Ireland at 17, learning the ropes early and developing a real passion for the industry.
Those hands‑on years taught him the importance of hard work, teamwork, and doing things right the first time. At 24, Gary and his wife Lorraine made the big move to Australia. Not long after arriving, Gary was back doing what he loved — working in civil construction — and quickly became a leading hand, then supervisor and progressed this way to superintendent on major projects.
His reliability, strong work ethic, and calm leadership helped him earn the respect of everyone he worked with. In 2012, Gary turned his dream into reality purchasing a excavator and backhoe starting 'GLE Civil & Pipe'. Built on years of experience and a down‑to‑earth approach, the business has grown a strong reputation across the gas, oil, water, Sewer and Road Construction Industries.
Today, GLE Civil & Pipe is known for quality work, honest communication, and a team that takes pride in every job. For Gary, it’s still all about building things that last — both projects and relationships.
